No water no life

1- The Ministry of Water Resources, Electricity and Groundwater Management El Fasher
Date: 2016/06/08
Number: 3/5/58
Subject: Report on the Geophysical Study in the Village of Kharef Introduction: This study was carried out on the request of Faid Al Rahma Charitable Organi zation. Geophysical and hydrographic study of the village, in order to identify suitable sites for digging underground wells suitable for drinking water.
2 - The village is located north of the city of El Fasher, the capital of the state of North Darfur, 70 km away and is limited between the two lines-length and width
N 14152991- E2561262 The land of the site clay sand covered with sediments of the flood plain of the valley of the village of Khirif and the tributaries to which grow trees and trees characteristic of desert climate / With average seasonal rains not exceeding 150 mm per year
3. Geological and Hydrographic Geology:
The geological column of the Melit region consists of the following rock components:
- Bony basalt rocks.
- Sandstone.
- Volcanic tertiary flows
- Surface sediments. The water sources in El Fasher are:
- Nubian sandstone. Wadis.
- Excavations and the Rhodes.
- The basic rocks flattened and cracked
4 - basal foundation rocks: are crystalline rocks or mutants belonging to the old age and form the base on which the rest of the most recent geological units and make up this group a large proportion of rock detectors on a country scale up to 50% basal rocks are generally silent rocks do not allow water storage Groundwater, except in cracking and erosion and in suitable rainfall conditions with opportunities for groundwater recharge. Nubian sandstone sediments:
These rocks belong to the Cretaceous period and consist of a group of sediment layers of clay, sand, gravel and mixtures
5 - and most often placed by running water and under continental conditions in the ponds. Which are created in the complex base without discrimination, and the classes are generally horizontal and characterized by the speed of the tones in the horizontal and vertical loads and take the dimensions of the lens with repeated exposure to erosion and sedimentation. Triangular volcanic wave flows:
This group consists of accumulations of alkaline rocks of black basalt stone formed by volcanic eruptions and eruptions of lava flowing from the ground penetrating the complex arsenic rocks and the Nubian sandstone group. This volcanic activity occurred in the triple era as a result of the imbalance of the crust The ground that accompanies the creation of the Great African Groove and encircling Jebel Marra heights, Madoub mountains and other formations in the region.
6. Surface sediments:
This group forms an upper cover for the rock subdivisions. It is attributed to the modern four-day period. It includes mud, sand and silt deposits formed by floods and floods. It also includes river dams, delta, sediments, and sediments such as sand dunes and the thickness of these sediments is only a few meters.
The work carried out:
Using the electromagnetic wave device, a number of (1) pathways were performed to identify the faults, cracks and cracks of the rock.
7- The vertical stratification of the region is as follows: from --------- to 0 ---- 10 sand + clay 10 m ------ 75 sand + gravel + clay 75 m -------- 100 m Broken rocks, cracked and cracked. 100 m ---- 120 m semi-solid configurations.
8- Recommendation: Based on the geophysical and hydrological study carried out, previous studies and information available about the region, we conclude the following: 1 / Recommend the drilling in the specified capture as follows:
The first point at the intersection of the two lines of length and width N 14152991 E 2561099 Work specified for drilling 110 m Point
The second is located at the intersection of the two lines of length and width N14152991 E2561174 The specified depth of drilling 110 m
The third point is located at the intersection of two lines of length and width N14152991 E2561262 The specified depth of drilling 110m
9-2 / Drilling operations of the follow-up and landing of pipes and sowing design under the supervision of a specialist geologist.
3 / Taking a sample of well water for the laboratory to verify the validity.
4 / Double-gear machine is used for drilling operations. And what is the best except Allah
Omar Abdel Rahman Adam - Director of the Department of groundwater and valleys
Issam Mohammed Siraj - field geologist.
