Readers tell author they want more than four books in the Lizzie Series!!
Lizzie's Legacy, the latest book in Lizzie Series was under many a Christmas tree last month. Word has been filtering back to me that they are certainly not going to allow me to end the series with only 4 books!! Readers just love the antics of our spunky Lizzie as she turns from a rough street waif turned business-kid, into an entrepreneurial dynamo changing the face of Olde London forever!
Lizzie reminds us of heroines such as Pippi Longstocking (in early days), Laura Ingalls (Little House on the Prairie), Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables), Meg (Little Women), and many other outgoing and wonderful characters in literature. You'll note these are all old-fashioned characters because they are written in a similar old-fashioned style as I use today.
