I have actually had to change jobs due to a very sick individual that I made a HUGE mistake in getting to know (correspondence only- never actually met her) on AD.
Fortunately- I got a job making more money, and I do not have to go to Angola. Instead- I get to go to Perth, Australia! (on rotation) Yay!!!! And- it's a permanent position. I normally work contract. AND- the project that I am leaving is going to use me as a consultant- so I am going to charge them big bucks for THAT.
Please be careful about trusting people on the internet. This is the second time I have had some sick fool who I have never even met cause me problems.
Fortunately- each time I have had to leave my job because they decided to try to annihilate me- I came out ahead.
But- there will not be a next time for ME. I have (finally) learned my lesson.
The book I have been writing which is set in Angola has been put on the shelf, for now.
I do have a short story which will be finished by the end of February.
