New author
"Colorless Soul," a new book by Mary Wilson of Goldsboro, has been published by First Books, based in Bloomington, Ind. The paperback, which was published in February, is available at Books-A-Million and online. This is her first published book.
Mrs. Wilson is a former federal employee and now has her own medical transcription business. "Colorless Soul" is a book of memoirs about her family. Mrs. Wilson, who is originally from Pennsylvania, began work on the project in 1984. When relatives asked her to publish the book, she edited it down to 124 pages. Most of the book spans three decades, beginning in the 1960s and ending with her father's death in the 1980s.
