The far off drone of traffic muffled the gurgles that bubbled up from the sinking body. Roger retrieved his briefcase, and walked briskly away. Fingerlike shadows of the trees gathered around the lanky figure, consumed and camouflaged his form, and thus, he dissolved into the darkness of the park.
