Author and poet Darlene Zagata's poem "Shivers" has been selected for publication in upcoming anthology.
Darlene Zagata's poem "Shivers" has been selected for publication in the International Library Of Poetry's upcoming anthology "Under A Quicksilver Moon" scheduled for publication in the winter of 2002.
The author and poet was unexpectedly suprised when she received the news. She credits one of her feline friends as the inspiration for her poem "Shivers."
"As I sat at my computer one evening I glanced over at the cat as she was grooming herself on the floor when suddenly she sat straight up and began staring off into space as if something were there. I called her and tried to get her attention but she paid me no mind and continued to sit there staring at nothing. This continued for several minutes then I felt a cold chill and later that evening the poem "Shivers" was born.
The author is delighted that her poem has been chosen to appear along with many wonderful pieces of work from talented poets from around the world.
