Patti Ann Bengen,NY based author was on a mission as she donated her book, "New Beginnings" to every library on Long Island, twenty-two in san Diego, CA and a twelve in Las Vegas, NV.
"Domestic violence is something that should NEVER happen. I reflect on my own abusive marriage, the consequences, and the long climb back to self-empowerment. Domestic violence is NOT a man against woman or woman against man thing . . . it is human being against human being. I want to make sure that this story is available to everyone."
