The "2004 Our Heroes" Committee is sponsoring the largest art exhibit on
the 20 year history of AIDS in Washington, DC entitled:
"OUR HEROES: A 20 Year Journey Of AIDS Through Our Eyes"
This month-long exhibit/event will
feature paintings, sculpture, poetry,
quilts, performance art, and photography, plays, spoken-word and dance.
It debuts December 1, 2004 - World AIDS Day - in five locations throughout Washington, DC. Numerous receptions and events will take place in the main exhibition location, Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.
This exhibit opportunity is open to all artists, everywhere.
