My first novel, Hierath, has made the shortlist for the 2007 Eppie Awards
Exciting stuff! At the moment, I feel like the token foriegn language film at the Oscars, a little dazed and astounded to have made the final cut, and not really expecting to win anything.
The Eppies are the annual Electronic Publishing Awards (for E-books), presented by Epic, and I made the final three in their Fantasy Catagorey, up against Piers Anthony and Skyla Dawn Cameron. Needless to say, I'm thrilled to bits, as Hierath is my very first novel, and I was never expecting anything like this. It's just a shame I can't at the ceremony, because that would have been fun.
The award is presented in March, I'll let you know how it goes.
