For those of you interested in the prevention of elder abuse, you might want to have the phone number for reporting it in California. I gave it out on the radio this morning [for California. 1-888-436-3600.

You can also find out more about abuse prevention by visiting the National Adult Protective Services on the web. [NAPSA].

My novel, Conduct in Question, examines many forms of abuse...of the elderly, of women. As Harry, the protagonist concludes women stay with their abusive men out of gut wrenching fear.
