The second novel in The Osgoode Trilogy, Final Paradox, also received honorable mention this year at the Hollywood Book Festival Click here. This festival is held for the purpose of bringing authors to the attention of the film industry.

Martin, a lawyer, in speaking about her suspense trilogy, [Conduct in Question, Final Paradox and A Trial of One,] says that it was inspired by my law practice. I think lawyers are very fortunate. Almost every conceivable human situation arrives at the office door and the lawyer must craft solutions. It also gives him or her wonderful window on humanity. The protagonist of the trilogy, Harry Jenkins is also a lawyer. At the beginning of Conduct in Question, the first novel, Harry is an indecisive, tentative soul, stuck under his senior partner’s thumb and in a cold and loveless marriage. By the end, he has learned to live his life with energy, conviction and passion. How? With murder and fraud surrounding him, he must call upon his strengths of keen intelligence and intuition. And so he must grow.
