After the end of Show and Tell I began a battle to remove my grandchild from a home life where drugs were used regularly. I vowed to do something-a phone call, an e-mail etc., every day. After almost a year, I successfully gained permanent custody of Elyssa and began the journey of raising my then three-year-old grandaughter. She has now been with me for a year.
