I did in 2008 give birth to a healthy baby boy.  He is now 4 and is best bud's with his now 2 year old brother who was born with Down syndrome in 2010.  We have been busy with therapy and many different types of doctor appointments for him.  He was born with 4 wholes in his heart and had to be lifeflighted to the NICU where he stayed for 30 days on oxygen and feeding tube called an NG tube through his nose.  Before getting a tummy tube surgically placed at 2 months old.

Since, he has been such an infectious little joy.  He is always smiling and his big brother is always finding ways to make him laugh.  He is currently undergoing his 6th of 6 treatments of chemo for AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and we are hopeful that he will be given a clean bill of health.  He was recently walked for in a buddy walk in Portland, Oregon and is really proving to be a very bright light in all of our lives.

I am truly blessed to have been given my family and I only hope that GOD has a plan for a long and happy life for each and everyone in it.
