Judith Laura is donating all her profits and royalties from the sale of her new novel, Beyond All Desiring,to charities that help survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
Judith Laura today announced that she is donating all her profits and royalties from her new novel, Beyond All Desiring, to charities for Hurricane Katrina survivors. She will continue doing this until at least the end of 2005.
"Beyond All Desiring came out at about the same time as Katrina struck," Laura said. "So I feel one way to ‘make lemonade' out of this concurrence is to use profits from the book to try to help people recover from the hurricane."

This is Judith Laura's second novel and fourth book. She has, for some time, been donating at least a third of her profits from her books to charities that benefit women and will continue to do so with profits from her three other books.
