Jane's Stories takes its name from these inspiring representatives of women everywhere. Our goal is to maintain a welcoming circle for writers and editors, and to offer new skills to pursue your goals.
Jane's Stories Press Foundation will offer a retreat for women writers in St. Augustine, Florida, starting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Gypsy Cab Cafe, 828 Anastasia Blvd. (just over the Bridge of Lions) The event will be followed by a slate of workshops at A1A Ale Works,
1 King St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 23.
The retreat will counter recent economic trends by offering information that is immediately useful. Beginning and seasoned writers are welcome.
A fee of $55 ($44 for members of the foundation) includes Saturday morning pastries, lunch, a dessert tray and workshops (but not dinner on either night).
