Author-composer Laraine Elizabeth Turner rises to success once again as two-time Finalist in VH-1''s Song of the Year international songwriting competition--in 2005 in the pop category for "The Thorns of the Rose," and in 2006 in the folk category for her song, "Long, Long Ago." Both songs are directly related to the books she''s written. She was also runner-up three times, including December of 2006.
