TALENT SPOTLIGHT
Name: Lynn Barry
Q: What is your talent?
A: I have the ability to write inspirationally. Huh? What does that mean?
I can sit down at a computer keyboard and stories come to me. I write
fiction and have no idea what the story will be about until I get writing
it. The process for me is much like reading a book, I don't know what
will be on the next page until I write it. I never dream about my
characters or plot anything out. The next step after the first draft is
editing and I absolutely love that part of the process. I sometimes change
the point of view back and forth several times, and have been known to
fiddle forever on my stories; that is my kind of fun!
Q: What are your accomplishments?
A: Aside from seeing my novel Puddles published and my second novel
Bjoyfl accepted for publication, I would have to say working at a 30 year
marriage, giving birth to and raising three sons, adopting and raising a
five year old foster child, and earning a degree in Writing Arts/Criminal
Justice, cum laude (during my thirties).
Q: What would you like to accomplish with your talent?
A: I would like to see my novels Puddles and Bjoyfl in the hands of as
many readers as possible. I have other books I am working on, and would
like to see them in print, too. Having my books produced as TV movies or
even on the big screen is part of the continuous dream I'm seeing come
true every day.

A: If you can write something that makes a person think, you might expand
a mind.
If you can write something that makes a person smile, you might even
change a life.
