Christy Tillery French has been invited by East Tennessee State University to attend the ETSU Celebration of Books and Authors which is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2002, from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This event will take place in the Ballroom at the D.P. Culp Center on the campus of ETSU.
Up to 150 authors are expected to be present to sign their books, talk to their fans, and have their books sold by Barnes and Noble. More than 2,000 attendees are expected to purchase books and visit with authors.
A generous share of the proceeds will go to the ETSU Library Associates, an organization of the ETSU Foundation to support the collections, programs, and services of ETSU's Charles C. Sherrod Library.
Christy will also be attending a marketing workshop on the afternoon of Friday, April 12th, and a social gathering that evening.
