Literary Criticism

Christy Tillery French receives letter from actress, singer/songwriter Dolly Parton in which she states, "I enjoyed reading them ("Chasing Horses" and "Wayne's Dead") very, very much.

Christy Tillery French, author of "Chasing Horses" and "Wayne's Dead" received a letter from actress, singer/songwriter Dolly Parton dated January 21, 2003. Ms. Parton states:

"Dear Christy,

Thank you for sending "Chasing Horses" and "Wayne's Dead". Well, you're as crazy and out there as I am. I really enjoyed reading them riding back from Los Angeles in my bus. I finished them off here in the big snow storm when I was snowed in. I enjoyed them very, very much. My sisters and I love the same books, so I am going to pass them around to them.

Again, thank you for sending them. I love to read so any time you ever have anything wonderful you know I'd enjoy reading, let me know.

Keep up the good work. It's always great to have people from home do good.
