Historical Fiction

A Civil War soldier makes his hard way home only to find his wife remarried. What he does about the problem is unusual and heartbreaking

Echoes Of The Ozarks Vol II was released November 15, 2006. The anthology includes this story plus 31 other short stories by some of the best writers now living in the Ozarks. The book was edited by Louella Turner, Donna Volkenannt and Delois McGrew. It is available through AWOC.com publishing.
