Signing with new publisher gets new releases and a job
Early in 2014 I signed with Oghma Creative Media for promotion of my books published with Wild Rose Press, Oak Tree Press and SynergEBooks. It wasn't long before Casey Cowan, owner of Oghma, decided to get into the publishing business. When he asked me if I had any manuscripts, I was happy to pull out a few dusty endeavors.
In September of 2014 Beyond the Moon was published. This is a large mainstream novel, what you might call the book of my heart. A love story of redemption, this is a tale of the horrors of war, what it does to young men, and a woman who learns to deal with demons in order to save a wounded warrior.
In April, 2015 Oghma published my second in the Twist of Poe Mysteries, The Tell-Tale Stone that continues the story of Cherokee Lawman Dallas Starr and reporter Jessie West who work, squabble, and love in a small Arkansas town.
I was further surprised when they asked for a horror/paranormal novel I'd written quite a few years ago. A Savage Grace came out in September of 2015 with a cover to die for. Casey Cowan designed the cover and he's brilliant.
In the meantime, the second in my Victorian Series, Rowena's Hellion, from Wild Rose Press was released during the summer of 2015 for a total of four books in a year.
While I'm ecstatic about all these books, I've found it difficult to promote four such different themed books. But my new publisher helped out when he branded me as Sexy,Dark, and Gritty, and despite the difference in genres my books all fit that.
So whether readers are looking for love stories, historical romances, mysteries or paranormal/horror, they can find them under my Sexy,Dark, and Gritty brand.
