Today I finished a rough draft of my new book, titled "The Family." (The title could change) It took me nearly two years, and three different versions before completing this one.
It is a murder mystery based here in Concord, NC. It involves Lucas, the main character from Moment of Impact, and Simon Fitzgerald, heir to a multi-million dollar restaraunt empire, and the changes that their lives go through when Simon's father is murdered. It will have many twists and turns, and Lucas will develop from a shy, young executive to something different as he takes it upon himself to find the killer. Lucas feels the need to help the police in their investigation because it turns out that he is the prime suspect.
The twists and turns will grow especially ponderous at Lucas comes closer to finding the killer.
I am at the point where I am going to let a few people read over the manuscript, make a few changes, and if it is well recieved, try to get it published.
