We are now in the 10th Anniversary of our mission to inspire, motivate, and encourage anyone having the desire or love for poetry and writing to continue doing so, without fear of failure or success.

(1) Write a poem, thirty lines or fewer on any subject or style, single or double line spacing, neatly hand printed or typed. And/or (2) Write a short story five pages maximum length, single or double line spacing, on any subject or theme, fiction or non-fiction or creative nonfiction (including essay compositions, screenwriting, diary and journal entries), neatly hand printed or typed. Multiple poem and short story contest entries are accepted.

Postmark deadline: July 31, 2015

All contest winners will be published on September 26, 2015

Prizes:

Writing First Prize is $500. Second Prize is $250. Third Prize $100.

Poetry First Prize is $250. Second Prize is $125. Third Prize is $50.

Entry fees: $10 per story / $5 per poem.
