After a recent phone call from a friend in New Zealand I have learned that my current work in print, Throwing Stones, has been sold in more than seven countries and four continents. 

The subject matter of Throwing Stones; parental child abduction through the eyes of a child, is one that on the cover would only have a small select reader group.  What we have recently found out is that this important and first of its kind true-life novel is being read leisurely by some readers. 

Everyone wants a good book they can curl up to and read in a short time.  A book containing 288 pages is not a small read, but readers have said once they started it, they could not put it down. 

 The goal of Throwing Stones was originally to give a voice to the silenced victim of family based abduction, the child.  After the first reviews I realized that the second and third book in the Finding Homes series needed to be published. 

It is important that the reader get the full picture.  I want them to be with the protagonist through his life journey.  What challenges did he face?  Was he ever depressed with thoughts of death?  Did he ever learn to deal with the demons of his childhood? Did he find love? How did the little boy develop into a man? 

These questions are important and because of the past global exposure to this book, I have begun a revision and currently working with a wonderful and talented editor in the United Kingdom. 

Our goal is simple:  We plan to seek a larger publishing house that has the vision for this work. We will then seek the republication of Throwing Stones; followed by the release of Wakes & Ripples and Calming the Water. Since the book has been sold in Scandinavia, France, Canada, Untied States, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany, India and Israel, we hope that it can one day be offered in these wonderful native languages represented above. 

For all of you out there who has read and followed my work, thank you!  This book was not an easy book to write. After it came out I had a series of nasty and threatening emails and phone calls.  At one point we had the police come to our home and look into the threatening and harassing messages. 

Regardless, when we have an important story, no a story or voice that can help others, we need to step up and take a stand.  It is in this spirit of humanity that others have spread the word around the globe.  For that, I thank you.
