After exploring many options for publishing SLEEPING WITH A WITCH DOCTOR, I've settled on Tate Publishers in Mustang, Oklahoma. In the past, I've used traditional publishing methods, you know, the kind where the publisher pays you and not the other way around. But I'd exhausted all those avenues a few years back: the non-fiction story about evangelizing in the hilltribes of Thailand was too charismatic for mainline Christian publishers and too Christian for secular publishers.
I knew authors who had self-published and ended up with a roomful of unsold books, and I totally didn't want that! I explored many self-publishing companies and they all had their advantages and disadvantages. Tate does insist that their writers hire a publicist and marketing agent, which suits me fine. My past experience (this is my 16th published book) showed that getting work published was just the beginning! I'm looking forward to working with Tate and anticipate good sales.
