Book tour around USA to visit and meet the families of those men killed aboard PCF-19
My wife and I left on June 1, 2006 on a tour in our RV that took us to many cities in which the families of the crewmen of the sunken PCF-19 lived. We arrived in Arkansas just in time to visit the family of BM2 Billy Armstrong. His brother had passed away the previous Friday and was awaiting burial and we found the sister-in-law in the hospital with terminal cancer. She died one week later and meeting her was the highlight of the trip. Others included stops in Atlanta, GA, Warner Robins, GA, Walterboro, SC, Niles, OH, Fithian, IL, and Charlotte Court House, VA. We did media interviews, book signings, and donated books to the public library in honor of these falled heroes.
