Hi, everyone. Word Museum is getting ready to go to a new type of author page structuring and I wanted to offer many of you I've talked with another chance to get into an author promotion page at our super low rates before they go up. I know some of you have been thinking about getting pages and I wouldn't want you to wait and miss this great deal.
As you know we do a lot of promotions for our authors across the board. We have events every other months, such as our Mardi Gras, literacy month, Luna Festival...seems like we always have something going on trying to promote our authors. In addition, we have the author scrapbook that goes out to 10,000 plus people, a mailing list of over 9,000 and an email list that is around 7,000 now. We also have a new Authors' Lounge area just for our authors to promote, update information for their pages, get the latest news and more. Our hits are well over a million a year and we often have a presence at conferences and book fairs. It's a little hard to describe in a short email all we do so I'll refer you to any of our authors if you'd like to know more.
Only until August 30th, you can still get a basic package. That is a single page with your picture, bio, list of releases, an interview, link to your homepage and all the promotional advantages of being a WM author.
Our basic packages are 50.00 and a 10.00 setup fee.
The best deal is our Deluxe Package. This includes: An author bio, a link to any other site you may have, a list of current and upcoming releases, your interview posted, links to any of your books available through Amazon.com. In addition, you will be spotlighted in our spotlight area. Plus! Two bookshelf pages, which include a graphic of your cover, a blurb of your book, any pertinent reviews, and an excerpt, link to Amazon or info on where the title can be ordered. Your own guestbook. And you'll be eligible for our referral program where you can actually earn a discount on your pages or even free pages at our site. We're starting that program August 30th.
Deluxe pages are 155.00/year plus 30.00 setup fee.
Also, if you sign up before Monday, we'll guarantee your pages will be up within 7 days as long as you get the information to us that we need.
Now, this deal is only good until August 30th, after that we will be doing one type of page only and our rates will go up considerably. The reason for that is so that we can focus our time and resources on our authors. So, if you've been thinking about getting a page, now is the time to do it.
