Author Den's Member nominated for National award.

DATELINE:  RD Larson has been named a finalists for the 2004 Eppie Awards in the Inspirational Romance category, for her title Saving Reverend Clayton, published by ebooksonthe.net and Peach Blossom Publishing. 
 
The EPPIE Awards have been given annually since the first Electronically Published Internet Connection (EPIC) conference in 2000. They recognize outstanding achievement in e-publishing.
 
> “I'm honored to receive such a nomination since there are so many fine authors represented,” said author RD Larson of Friday Harbor, Washington “It's so great to work with an editor and publisher who cares about the writer. My coauthor, Louise Ulmer lives in Pennsylvania and she is a writer of much warmth.”

The categories are judged by members of EPIC, all published authors. After the first round of judging, the works of the finalists are sent to another panel of judges, and winners in all eighteen categories are selected. The winners are announced at the EPIC conference's gala award ceremony at the annual EPICon Convention scheduled March 12 through 14th in Oklahoma City.

“Life can be romantic and fun especially for ministers,” said RD Larson, "and the women who love them. We wanted to tell a romantic, exciting and religious story that any person could enjoy. Many people read newspapers, stories and now books online. It saves resources and eliminates waste products. EPIC is a well-respected award all over the world. I'm honored to have been chosen and I know Louise is too.”

EPIC offers professional information to electronic authors in the same way other writers’ organizations, like the Author's Guild, do for print writers. It also provides a social venue for the exchange of information on line, according to the group's spokesperson.
