Falling in love the first time
Was the hardest thing to do
So many emotions compromised
So many emotions gone untold
It wasn’t quite right the first time
I wasn’t truly myself
Not pretending to be someone else
But holding back many feelings and hurts
Now is the time to start a new beginning
