Eva Pasco was born with a special gift, the ability to travel through time. She seamlessly weaves a tapestry of Etta’s life, taking the reader through her heroine’s life, in what at first seem to be random snapshots. Beginning with the accidental death of the love of her life, Eva Pasco stiches together scenes from all the decades of Etta’s life, which includes the years that led to her conception. Eva tantalizingly shows the reader a brief glimpse of Etta’s father’s violent death, this lingers in the reader’s mind, awaiting with trepidation the brutal scene of her father’s final moments. Exceptional and detailed storytelling from a true wordsmith.
