Part of QVC's Grand Finale on August 14th, Nick Romer launched yet another new collection of Kreate-a-lope Envelope and Card Making Templates to a rapidly responding viewing audience. The sellout was the most recent of many for this long-time guest of QVC.
Originally told he would receive a 6 to 8 minute slot, the award winning inventor was quite surprised when he noticed the on-air clock (visible only to guests and hosts) displaying a mere 4 minutes.
Romer said, "I saw the time and realized I would get one good chance to demonstrate my product." And demonstrate it he did.
Immediately the calls starting coming in and seconds into the demonstration the host, Lea Williams, announced, "Over 900 of you have already called in."
They had achieved their goal. In short order the inventory of approximately 2200 units was gone and Romer was elated.
"You never know what to expect." He remarked to an onlooker after stepping off the set. "Sometimes the phones on fire and sometimes you're searching for the flame."
