This is my first review, by author, Bernice Angoh-Author of the book, "Lemonade Street".
Review: "Open Window"
"Like the title, "Open Window", the author Jo-Etta Gravett, takes us on a journey through seasons, life's darkest moments and unseen days--that could be, if we choose to act differently. Her poetry is simple and heartfelt, poems like; "Child's Lament", "Do you know me?", "What I've learned", "Wandering Souls", "Rise", and "Glory days", are thought-provoking. I especially loved "My mother", "My father", and "One speck". Life is an "Open window", take a peek, and dare to dream."
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
