Attorney-clint privilege has kept secret murder's confession.
Chicago.Ill. After Alton Login and Edward Hope were arrested in a shoot out, another man,Andrew Wilson, confessed to his lawyer that he killed a Chicago policeman in which Logan and Hope were charged.
Because Wilson's admission was protected under attorney-clint privilege, it has been kept secret for 27 years, while Hope was sentenced to death and Logan to life in prison.
The above is but another case added to a growing list of people sentenced to death and later found to be innocent. Yet, many people still seem to have a child like faith in the infallibility of out justice system.
The United States is the only Western Industral country thst still imposes the death plenty. Also, the U.S.. China, and Iran opposed an United Nation's resolution for a global ban on executions.
