I am one of those middle-aged white guys who couldn''t stand Hillary Clinton, but as the nomination began to reveal more about the candidates, I found myself in Hillary''s camp.
Arianna Huffington has always been critical of Hillary, and that is what I find remarkable about her article in Perspective, May 25. Hillary Clinton is tough and not afraid of challenges; coupled with her experience, she is a far better candidate than the weak professorial style of Barack Obama. Notice I haven''t even gone to the Reverend Wright connection, or Obama''s affiliation with terrorist Ayers, or his connection to Black Muslim, hate-mongering Louis Farrakan.
For her tenacity alone, I think she would not have a problem representing the United States, especially when dealing with rogue terrorist nations. For me, Obama shows weakness. One way or another, Hillary will be president whether it will be this time or in 2012.
