Mikii Hooper on stage.

Mikii Hooper aka Grangran appeaered in the "April Showers" playing Ms. April with three other Poets in this all woman show in Memphis, TN last month. She also appeared as the narrator in the Musical Blues Trail West Memphis to Chicago featuring Ken Jackson and The 8th Street Blues Band underwwritten by the Crittenden County Arts Council. Delta Arts Organization., and The West Memphis Adv. & Promotion Dept. This Poetic/Spokenword Elder is taking off like a comet. She is a regular performer in Jazz-A-Fire a monthly showcase to benefit The Firehouse Arts Academy in Memphis, TN as well. Not bad for a 74 year old.
