5 million emails will promote the release of "Checkmate" by Jean Hackensmith
I am so excited to announce that, in cooperation with AuthorHive.com, a promotional blast of 5 million emails will go out next week to announce the release of my new romantic thriller, "Checkmate." The email will also direct readers to the promotional trailer on Utube. My publisher hopes to see a 1% return on this promotion. If you do the math, that's 50,000 sales. I'm holding my breath. It's a good feeling, though, to know they have that much faith in the book. The picture that accompanies this news article is the actual email that will go out. It is awesome! In fact, it gives me goosebumps! Reviewers have already said that "Checkmate" is one of the "best suspense novels" they've read in years, so here's hoping! With it being the first in a series, though, it's also a little unnerving. I'm currently working on the second book, and the knowledge that it has to be even better than "Checkmate" keeps me up at night. I think I'm on the right track, though, and that book two in The Brian Koski Stalker Series will unforgettable.
Book 3 continues the Commander and the Chief's adventures in political intrigue, superstition, old feuds, and the search of Nikola Tesla's missing papers in this Close Encounter of the Weird Kind.
