Peter Earnest has been the Executive Director of the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. since it opened in 2002. His previous career spanned 36 years of service with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA),
He began his CIA career in 1957 as a field case officer engaged in clandestine operations, chiefly in Europe and the Middle East, and for ten years in the Soviet/East European arena. Later, he was chief liaison officer to the U.S. Senate.
In his final posting, He was Director of Media Relations where he served as the Agency’s principal spokesman.
Speaking about Kingmaker , he stated:
' I’ve known Alexey for many years and am well aware that he knows his way around many of the more remote and exotic locales. I found his Kingmaker an extraordinarily fast-paced and suspenseful read especially when you realize this is his first time out. Trager establishes a strong enough presence to merit a sequel ideally with a few of the truly exotic characters Alexey introduces in this story. Alexey has a good feel for the telling one-liner and Trager’s out-of-the-box getaways put Indiana Jones to shame. I’m looking forward to the next one.
