Robert Ferrier wins OWFI trophy award for second time.
Norman, OK, poet Robert Ferrier has won the trophy award for Best Published Book of Poetry in a regional contest sponsored by the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc., for his book, Ambient Light. Ferrier also won the award in 2005 for his book, Rhythms.
Ferrier is one of 13 poets nominated for 2007 Oklahoma Poet Laureate.
