Well, it's been really crazy around here in DianaHignutt Land. The release of my novel Empress of Clouds is taking longer than I anticipated because of one main reason. Shortly after signing my contract with Behler Publications to publish the book, they offered me the job of Director of Marketing for their new publishing company. I accepted. I have poured much energy into this new career and things are working out very well, but it has slowed down considerably the amount of time I have to work on my own writing, which includes rewrites and edits of Empress of Clouds, and the writing of my next book. Well, I just received my proofs of Empress and the book will go into production soon. I am working on a plan that will allow my fans to order the book (and get it in their hands) three months before the book will hit the stores (there are, afterall certain advantages to being the Director of Marketing for one's own publisher). Watch the NEWS space (here) for details on this soon. I apologize for the delays in getting this book to you, but I hope it will be worth the wait to read about Tolian's continued adventures. And yes, I have also begun work on my third novel, and next spring look for my fairly long, short story "The Locket" to be released in an ebook anthology from Double Dragon Publishing.
