The follow up to my book, "Extraordinary Visits" - Miracles through Divine Intervention, is nearing completion.  As many of you know, the books are a collection of true, inspiring stories from ordinary people who have experienced extraordinary visits through angels, divine intervention, God, higher power, etc.  The first book has done fairly well considering it is my first published piece; and now I am compiling the stories that were submitted the past two years into the second manuscript.  My publisher has already given me the go-ahead to print; however, I want to invite you once again....If you have a story that is true, uplifting, inspiring to others, and you would like to submit it for inclusion into "The Visitors" please do so immediately.  The deadline is January 15, and you can send me the submissions (short stories and/or poems) to lindalaw226 at yahoo dot com.  In the subject line, please type in (submission-TheVisitors) and in the body, please be sure you give a statement that you are authorizing the use of your work for Linda Law to include in her book, and give the date you authorize it. 

The story must be no longer than 3 pages in length, must be a true story, inspirational, with positive resolution.  You will advise me as to how you want your name to appear in the piece/contributor/acknowledgement; and if you wish, you can add a weblink.  Also, if you wish to remain anonymous, please state that, and understand that I have the freedom to edit, rework the piece to fit the formatting and style of my book requirements.  If your story is true and you do not want to divulge the true identities, etc; please change names, locations, etc prior to submitting. 

Poems must be inspiring, altho humor, loss, pets, etc will be used.  Once I have received all submissions on January 15th, I will advise you as soon as a decision has been made as to which works will be used, etc. 

There will be no payment for your submission if accepted, however, you will receive acknowledgement in the book if you desire, your weblink will be included, and you will receive a complimentary signed copy of the book shortly after it has been published.  You will of course be able to use your own work again, as it is your property; however, you will also have the "published" work to add to your resume for future use. 

It has been difficult to choose stories, poems for this second book, due to the number of submissions from all over the world.  To date, I have received about 260 stories/poems, and they are from India, Australia, So.Africa, Italy, Israel, Canada, Greece, Turkey, Mexico, England, Germany, Holland, and of course, the United States.  Amazingly, word of mouth seems to be quite natural in spreading the positive word and divine intervention seems not to be confined to any particular part of the world!
