Author Selina MacPherson is taking on a new persona to pen romantic suspense. MacPherson recently signed a 2 book deal with publisher in a whole new venue.
"I've always included a heavy dose of suspense in my historical romance novels, so the transition to romantic suspense really wasn't all that difficult," says S. K. It isn't always easy for an author to switch genres, especially when she is moving from historical to contemporary. It requires a different voice... and my editor had no idea if I could write a convincing contemporary setting. Luckily, voice has always been my strong suit, and I'm very flexible."
McClafferty, author of seven historical romances, published by Avon Books, Precious Gems, and Zebra Books will publish the first of her suspense novels later this year.
