Harbinger of Doom is a 200 page novel, the first in a multi-book series. The first half of the book is called ‘The Gateway’ and the second half ‘The Fallen Angle’. Each can be read separately, and, in fact, each is available separately on Kindle. However, they are meant to be read in order - The Fallen Angle picks up immediately after The Gateway leaves off and continues the same overall storyline with the same characters.

If you’re looking for an author that takes 400 or 800 pages to tell a 100 or 200 page story, as has become the norm in contemporary fantasy books, look elsewhere, as that isn’t my style. If you only like books that contain ten page descriptions of what a character looks like or that expend 10,000 consecutive words on internal exposition to explore each character’s innermost feelings about the current chapter’s love interest, please select another book.
