Submit your short story. Rules are simple and on the website (www.HalifaxEMS.org). Entries due 01 SEP 2008.
Basically, the story must related in some way to emergency medical services (put an ambulance on a road or having someone dial 911). The entry fee will be split with the top three winners. The mimimum first prize is $1,000. The more entries, the greater the value of the prizes. At the conclusion of the contest, we'll publish a collection of the top stories.
Our goal is to promote good writing and raise some money for our young service.
