Of course I shouldn't be doing this. Writing gets in your blood and like a literary vampire you must feed on it over and over to stay alive. Actually, I have an icky task at hand. My husband and his fishing buddies caught crappie and  trout yesterday and I will end up cleaning them. I love to eat such succulent fish but hate the scales and blood that go with cleaning.

I am on a cloud however. Just finding that my book, ALL ROADS LEAD TO HAZARD, is listed in Author's Den most popular literary fiction titles is a big boost. It must have sold well over the weekend as I did a radio interview in which I talked about AD. That spot was to promote the book signing at the Appalachian Artisan Center from 4-6 today. It feels good as gravy to know people in your own neck of the woods appreciate your work. As that neck stretches to far and wide places, that is even better.

So, I have things to do on this Monday. I have uploaded many pictures of the arty shops in eastern Kentucky where my book is now sold. All the questions about whether to use traditional publishers or not, perplex me but I will concentrate on my craft. There are many shows this month where I will be selling my new book and my watercolors.
