Talented Horsewoman sales are coming along. I have an event with Carolina Conspiracy coming up on October 11th. It's in a nearby town, so I am hoping gas supplies in the Charlotte area will be back to normal by then. Right now I am having to conserve and I go nowhere unless it's absolutely necessary. I do not want to be one of those people who are in those mile long gas lines or, even worse, one of those who camps out at gas stations overnight along with about a hundred others. This morning I had to take my grandson to school. I passed five gas stations. Three of them had no gas, one of them had a tanker delivering while all the campers waited to fill up and another had gas two lines, both a block or so long. So if I don't have gas by the time I have to travel to the Conspiracy author signing and sale, I'll have to skip it. Guess I'll stay home and work on my next novel, which is the second in the "Leigh McRae" series. For those who haven't read the book, Leigh McRae is the well-meaning, but slightly neurotic heroine of Talented Horsewoman.
