Remember the TV series Mister Ed, centered around a silly talking horse? Many do, but do you know who voiced that horse? Linda J Alexander does. She wrote a book called I Am Mister Ed ... Allan "Rocky" Lane Revealed. Before he was the voice of Mister Ed, he was a 1940s - 50s cowboy hero cheered on by many kids each and every Saturday at the local theater, in the guise of Red Ryder, as well as his signature character, Rocky Lane.

Before that …. he played in many movies, both credited and uncredited from 1929 into the 19040s. His personal life had as many ups and downs as did his acting career.

Few truly knew the real Allan Lane. Linda Alexander probably knows him now better than any of his co-workers, or even his four wives. Host Debbie Barth will chat with Linda about her newly released book, I am Mister Ed … Allan “Rocky” Lane Revealed.

Linda will also talk about her last book, A Maverick Life: The Jack Kelly Story, biography of the other brother, Bart, on TV's Maverick. Her earlier written work, Reluctant Witness … Robert Taylor, Hollywood and Communism--tells the story of Robert Taylor, Hollywood heartthrob of Hollywood's Golden Era, and is to be re-released in 2015.

Linda has had seven books published, not only about old Hollywood but fiction, as well. And there is more … Linda is on a mission. A mission to find a brother that she did not know existed two years ago.
