Arlington, VA's Book Meet & Eat club voted in local author Michael Sullivan for their October 19th selection.  The run off was a close one with Michael's novel beating The Watchman by one vote.  Early poll results had The Crown Conspiracy as a 3 to 1 underdog but by mid-poll they were neck and neck with only 1 or 2 votes separating the two. In the last hours of the poll Michael's book gained the deciding vote.

Michael will make a guest apperance at the meeting and will be available to answer questions.  It will be held at 5:00 PM at the Click here  (2051 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201 - 703-525-3600).  People who have not read the book are cautioned not to attend as a number of spoilers may be revealed.

Michael’s novel is already receiving acclaim. It was recognized May 30th, at the national BookExpo exposition in Los Angeles when Foreword Magazine named it a 2007 Book of the Year Finalist for Fantasy/Science Fiction.

Aspirations Media Inc (publisher of The Crown Conspiracy) has scheduled an initial book tour of 11 signings for October and November.  They have also signed a contract for book two: Avempartha. It is currently in production and is scheduled for an April 2009 release.
