Literary Magic is a quarterly online magazine dedicated to publishing fiction stories, book reviews and articles about words and language. In the winter edition Rocky Reichman started his review with

His review goes on to praise "the surprise first chapter", Michael's visual description, the research and background of the world of Elan, and the twists in plot. 

The review conclusdes with:
