Travis Ware, Founder/CEO of Silver*Ware Studios, Inc., tells how to create remember able characters in a Script in his book, Beyond the Pages.

For Immediate Release

Travis Ware Announces – October 19th, 2009 - In every story of every television show or movie there is a character that you remember, whether it’s from their heroic acts or snappy dialogue.  James Bond, Luke Skywalker, or Dr. Gregory House all have a character trait that the audience is engaged with. Writing a script for a film or TV Show that has those types of characters takes great skill and innovation to create.  Travis Ware teaches how to create these memorable characters in his book, Beyond the Page: A Script to Screen Guide to the Bizz.

Beyond the Pages explores the dynamics of piecing the parts of the unforgettable character.  In the book, it talks about character traits and character flaws in a hero or villain that makes you want to see more of them. It focuses on how to give your characters background and substance, which helps you to bring your written creations to life.

Travis Ware explains, “Making a character that no one cares who lives or dies is a waste of good paper or computer screen space!”

Ware breaks down the fundamentals of what makes a good character and what makes a bad one.  It shows you how you connect each character to the hero or villain, in order to keep the story flowing.  Creating each character that interacts with the hero or villain of the story, writing convincing dialogue is one of the key points that Travis demonstrates in his book.

Beyond the Pages is scheduled to be out January 2009. With the creation of Travis’ new studio, Silver*Ware Studios, Inc., he wants script writers to be prepared to send him good solid scripts with meaningful characters and heart-pounding stories of all genres. Ware created this book to help aspiring script writers and experts achieve their written cinematic goals.
