Indian Rocks Beach - Mastermind Karen Justice, created the greeting card line, Wild Jungle Chick for various hotels, gift shops, and specialty stores with the mission of raising public awareness of animal safety and the preservation of wildlife and endangered species.  Wild Jungle Chick is committed to protecting animals from brutality, abuse, exploitation, and threats against their survival and natural habitat.

Many animals are becoming threatened or endangered for a variety of reasons.  Habitat loss, environmental pollution, poor water quality, competition, different strains of disease, predation, illegal killing, and/or the introduction of non-native species into different environments are the most popular.  However, most of these reasons can be attributed to the human lifestyle and can be controlled if we are conscious of what we do.

Preserving animals and their natural ecosystems are extremely beneficial to us.  In fact, the preamble to the Endangered Species Act of 1973 states that various plants and wildlife "are of aesthetic, ecological, educational, historical, recreational, and scientific value to the Nation and its people."  Living things provide a balance in the biosphere.  There have been numerous medical and agricultural discoveries because of a well-balanced environment.  Medical discoveries such as fungi are used to create Penicillin, the cure for Strep.  If animals and plants are destroyed before the chemical compounds are studied, we will not know if they are capable of healing.  Therefore, disrupting the balance can negatively affect ecological productivity and hinder the advancement of science.  As a result of preservation, Karen's created her unique animal designs and wildlife in tropical-like environments.  These designs contain vibrant colors that are filled with hilarious conversations, usually taking place between two animals.
